I've launched a new site, Website Workshop, with articles on various webmaster topics including JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Web hosting, usability, web advertising, and server management. Now that that site is finally online I'll have more time to spend in the forum here.

We have had some recurring database problems with the forum, culminating with the forum being down most of today. I have fixed the problem for now. Later tonight there will be about an hour of downtime as I move the forum to a different database server, and that will hopefully be the end of the problems.
